Dr. Goelz encourages patient participation in their healing and continually updates the patient's treatment plan based on their progress. He believes that through patient education and active patient participation, people heal more quickly, more completely and have less of a chance for re-injury. Both Armitage Chiropractic and The Bridgeport Family Chiropractic Center offer therapeutic massage therapy performed by licensed therapists. Nutritional counseling, exercise programs, weight loss strategies and overall wellness consulting is available to all patients.

An avid sports fan, Dr. Goelz participates in many activities. Hockey, golf and football are his passions, but he also enjoys cycling, running, tennis, boating and weight training. He was a competitive golfer in college and specializes in helping golfers attain lower scores through preventing and treating golf injuries. He participates in volleyball, softball and football social clubs and plays competitive in-line and ice hockey.
